All HTC Desire Family Handsets Will Get Android Gingerbread In June
Here’s some good, rather great news for those who own a handset from the HTC Desire family. All the handsets will get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update in Q2 of this year.
When I say all the HTC Desire handsets, I mean all of them! The original Desire, Desire Z (also known as T-mobile G2) and the Desire HD. This is actually great news, it shows how much HTC cares about their customers. This news comes directly from an HTC representative from Mobile World Congress which was held some time back. So there you have it, Gingerbread lovin’ on your Desire handset coming in Q2 of this year, or more precisely around June. [via Engadget]
