Apple May Launch New Apple TV With IOS in January, With CDMA iPhone
DigiTimes has reported that Apple may soon be launching a new line and upgrade the Apple TV, the familiar “media box” to easily access their content via the TV. The new generation, however, could mount an optimized version of IOS, the popular mobile operating system that Apple provides on all devices sold.

The device, which allows Apple’s devices users to buy and rent movies through iTunes Store has always been a big success but was never been regarded as a benchmark in the industry. According to the latest rumors, this could all be about to change.
Apple is launching the new Apple TV using an AMD Fusion and excluding this time, the presence of a hard disk. The new device will take a UI similar to the iPhone with supporting the social networking Web sites, multimedia and the App Store. The production of the device will begin in December.
Someone on Twitter, also claims to have worked on this project in place of Apple in Holland last year. Here are his words about it:
It is not just a rumor that for the next generation of Apple TV but it is a fact. You can download new applications via AppStore and control them directly with an iPhone or iPod Touch. All the games that we know for iPhone or iPad, then, can be viewed and played in the living room, directly on our television. I secretly worked on this project for most of the year at the Dutch headquarters of Apple even though I’m sure Steve Jobs does not introduce the “Maximum power” in its first release. Just as was done with IOS and compass / gyroscope. We are able to run applications on a large screen iPad is truly phenomenal!
The rumors do not end there. In the usual Keynote in January could also be presented the new iPhone compatible with CDMA networks Verizon but principally affect American consumers, as we have already mentioned in this article. Finally, there is an iPad with 512 MB of RAM and an architecture Cortex A9. [Via Ispazio]
