Apple Sues HTC For Patent Infringement
This was something that ought to happen. Apple in a law suit finally targeted HTC, for its alleged involvement in infringing 20 patents, related to the iPhone’s user interface, underlying architecture and hardware. The lawsuit has been filed concurrently with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and in U.S. District Court in Delaware. There was no mention of Google but the one thing is certain that legal battle of Silicon Valley has just begun. While referring to the infringement, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs remarked:

“We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We’ve decided to do something about it. We think competition is healthy, but competitors
should create their own original technology, not steal ours.”
