Apple Tablet is based on ‘All in One’ and ‘Shared by All’ Concepts
It seems to me as the whole world is waiting for Steve Jobs to unveil his Apple Tablet next Wednesday. The rumors suggest that it’s going to be an amazing product. But what thought Steve Jobs actually had behind his concept of a Tablet. To me it appears that the main focus of his thought was ‘to integrate all in one device’. Reducing the the size of bigger products like Mac and increasing the size of smaller product like iPhone to produce a device with optimum balance and compromise between all these gadgets. It has already been said that Tablet will be a large screen iPhone with certain add-ons. According to sources, the device will sport that familiar look and feel of the original iPhone which was released back in 2007. It will also have lot many similarities with iPhone, staring from the industrial design down to the handset button and other connectivity components.

Lot many rumors and suggestions about the Tablet device are flying around. The Tablet is expected to be 10 inches in screen size which was initially claimed to be 7 inches only. These rumors also reveal several other features and specifications about the device. These hints indicate that technology used and functions performed by all the Apple gadgets starting from iMac, eReader, Notebook, netbook and down to the iPhone, will be combined together in one single gadget which most probably is being dubbed as ‘iTablet’. The mere thought of this concept by Steve is amazing.
The second thought that is being brought along the Tablet by Apple, is the concept of ‘sharing by all’. This makes it truly a family gadget. Some of these new add-ons are:
- With its new device, Apple will be targeting both homes and classrooms. Apple envisages that one device might be shared by multiple family members to read news and check email.
- Sharing by multiple users has been facilitated through automatic recognition built-in camera.
- For classrooms use, Apple is looking into electronic textbooks.
- The device include a virtual keyboard for input.
- Apple is working with book, magazine and newspaper publishers for content and also television networks to finalize nexus with tablet .
- Apple is working out with EA to show off the Tablet’s gaming capabilities next Wednesday.
One last thing, the above deductions about the concepts behind Apple Tablet is based on rumors and information received through various sources. What actually Apple has up it sleeve, will be revealed next Wednesday.
