As noted by Redmond Pie, Rubyra1n is the possibly the name of the next jailbreak coming from Geohot. The domain Rubyra1n.com was registered by the iPhone hacker named George Hotz (aka geohot) on 27th March 2010.

There are rumors flying around that Apple is looking forward to hire a blogger for its news. It appears that Apple’s PR staff has been advised to approach bloggers, or even blog on their own. A spy at Cupertino sent Gawker a remarkable news of sighting of TechCrunch’s mobile industry editor Greg Kumparak taking what appeared to be a job offer packet from Apple.

We are hearing that Chrome OS is about to be launched with a tablet debut on Verizon just before the holidays. Launch is aimed for Black Friday on November 26, and apparently the plan is to offer the device for extremely cheap or free on subsidy, which makes sense. After all, it is just a browser, and “free”.

While the iPad goes on sale in Japan today, the country’s TV news have been covering the launch as well as another product on sale in nearby China, the iPed. It is slightly heavier than the iPad, the device is powered by an Intel chip and runs on Google’s open source operating system Android. But like the iPad, it is a multi-media device.

iClarified via MacRumors has posted several new images of what according to a tipster’s claim seems to be the exterior casing for the upcoming fourth generation iPhone. Text on the back of the claimed shell indicate that it is a 64 GB model, and the first line of small text includes Apple’s traditional “Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China” information.

The buzz was on for some time now that Apple planned to sell its iPad in more than just its own stores, and the name of Best Buy was mentioned in this contest. But now photographic evidence have been acquired of the same. The snap shot comes from what looks to be an internal memo from the big box retailer, not only stating that the stores will be getting the iPad, but that they’ll be getting the iPad on launch day.
