Apple building its very own branded TV with built-in Apple TV rumor is starting to get fired up once again.

Apple HDTV

A new report has just emerged regarding Apple’s very own branded TV, and this time it carries a bit more details about the said product. According to a Wall Street analyst, the TV will come in three different screen sizes, for those looking for different options, and also different price points which fir those screen sizes.

The Bose VideoWave gives the greatest sense of where Apple’s alleged HDTV may be heading, Chowdhry claimed. He said his “converged view” of data from various developers is “probably” 75 percent accurate, and that it will “probably” be launched in March of 2012, with developer sessions at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

Its strange to note that Apple doesn’t usually launch such products at their annual World Wide Developer Conference, but an introduction of an Apple branded HDTV at such an event might just prove to be an ice breaker.

The VideoWave also sports a thickness of six inches, packing in 16 speakers. Chowdhry said that Apple’s purported HDTV will be a third as thick and will also have 16 speakers.
“These 16 built-in speakers gives a complete surround sound experience, without the need for any external speakers,” he said.

When it comes to sound, the HDTV will apparently be a monster! As explained above, that it will/might have 16 built-in speakers, and will render the need of external speakers useless. Its always worth noting that Apple packs its products with enough perks that it makes buying third-party accessories sometimes pointless.

The Apple branded HDTV will come in three different screen sizes and three different price points, and also its worth noting that this news comes from an analyst, which means that there is a high chance that this news have doses of inaccuracy in it. Therefore we would suggest that we take this report with a grain of salt. And moreover, the launch date is expected to be March 2012 if this report is to be followed.

I picture an Apple branded HDTV quite differently, instead of a regular Apple TV built right into an HDTV, I would like to see it as a more functional device. Wouldn’t it be great if it was able to browse the internet, play games, and also kill the need for having cable TV completely? If that is the case, who’s up for a monstrous Apple branded TV?
