Now that Apple’s cat is out of bag and iPad 2 has just been announced, Apple would also like its fans to know what new features are coming with iOS, starting with iOS 4.3, which will ship on the iPad 2.

To start with, Apple’s with its new Nitro JavaScript engine,  Safari performance is getting a major boost this time.

iTunes home sharing now allows you to stream all of your content directly over WiFi.

Thanks to iTunes homes haring, AirPlay is going to get some much needed improvements. This includes the ability to allow apps and even websites to play AirPlay Video.

On Verizon iPhone, iPhone 4 customers will now get a personal hotspot as well.

Some customers were asking for a switch on the device to quickly mute the device, while others asked for a switch to change the orientation lock. Now iOS 4.3 adds a preference for the iPad switch: either mute, or rotation lock.

Although it may look a small bump, but no one expected more than this. Rest of innovations and big changes are likely to come with iOS 5.   [Via Engadget]
