aTV Flash Brings A Web Browser And Last.fm To Your Apple TV 2G
Guys, ever thought that you would be able to browse the internet and play Last.fm radio on your shiny tiny 2nd gen Apple TV? You will be able to darn soon, thanks to FireCore who are working on a software package called aTV, which bundles a web browser and a Last.fm streamer.
Couch Surfer is the name of the browser in case you’re wondering, fits perfectly for the couch potato side of us. This is probably the only feature missing from Apple TV 2G, but hats off to FireCore for bringing that to us in the form of Couch Surfer, check out the demo over at YouTube by clicking this link and this link for Last.fm integration, you will be impressed!
The best part about aTV is that it doesn’t require you to fiddle with your Apple TV and installation is easy and noob-proof. Expect the beta version of aTV to be out soon, there’s no word on pricing as well. [via RedmondPie]
