Download iOS 5 beta 6 For iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Apple just released the sixth beta of iOS 5 right on schedule and is now available for download for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
And without any surprise, this update is also available as an over the air download which is a hefty 140MB+ download, so its recommended that you should be on WiFi in order to download the said update, and also have more than 50% of battery. Although you can download the update via 3G, but if you do so, you’re quite aware of what will happen to your data plan now wouldn’t you?
Its also worth noting that iOS 5 beta 6 is available only to registered Apple developers, otherwise you can’t access the beta software at all. If you’re on a version of iOS 5 beta older than beta 5, then you would have to download iOS 5 beta 6 from Apple’s developer website and restore the IPSW to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad via iTunes. Otherwise you’re stuck on the older version, and chances are swiftly high that the older beta would expire soon.
