Google+ For iOS Updated, Adds Support For iPod touch And iPad
The official Google+ app by Google itself was initially only compatible with the iPhone 4 and 3GS for some awkward reason which is still unknown to mankind. The app just got an update and things are a bit fruitier for iPod touch and iPad users.

The new version of Google+, which is dubbed as 1.0.2.1966, supports the iPod touch and iPad, at last! But keep in mind that it doesn’t support the iPad natively, its just a scaled up version of the iPhone app. Apart from iPad and iPod touch support, Google+ for iOS carries a lot of bug fixes. From the App Store:
What’s New in Version 1.0.2.1966
- Huddle settings
- Aggregated circle add notifications
- iPod touch & iPad support
Google+ is Google’s take in the social networking ocean. With huge failures before, namely Buzz and Wave, Google+ is a far more successful service than anything Google has pushed out before in this department, aimed to take on Twitter and Facebook directly.
Already have Google+ installed on your iPhone? Simply update from the App Store, or if you’re doing a clean install, then download Google+ from this link.
