Here’s How You Can Get The Facebook For iPad App Up And Running Right Now! [GUIDE]
The Facebook for iPad does exist and it lives inside the Facebook for iPhone app, feel like trying it out right now? Not a problem, just follow this simple guide and you’ll be running the Facebook for iPad app in no time!

Before you start off, you’re going to need a jailbroken iPad, and the Facebook for iPhone app installed on it, which you can get from the App Store of course. You can jailbreak your iPad or iPad 2 on iOS 4.3.3 by simply following this guide using JailbreakMe 3.0. All set? Let’s begin!
Step 1: Download iFile from Cydia, just do a quick search and you’ll find it.
Step 2: After installing iFile, launch it.
Step 3: Now on the left pane, click on “Applications”.

Step 4: Now you’ll be greeted with folders which are giberishly named, hunt down the Facebook app folder in them.
Step 5: Once you’ve located the Facebook folder, open the Facebook.app folder.

Step 6: Once inside the Facebook.app folder, scroll down and find the “info.plist” file.
Step 6: Tap on the “info.plist” file and then tap on “Property List Viewer”.

Step 7: You’re now inside the info.plist file. Simply scroll down and find “UIDeviceFamily”.
Step 8: Tap on UIDeviceFamily and set its value to “2”, without the quotes of course.

Step 9: Restart your iPad and launch the Facebook for iPhone app, I mean, the Facebook for “iPad” app. That’s all, you’re done!
Keep in mind that the app is somewhat buggy at this point, and for sure Facebook is not going to release it very soon, they are going to do so when all the bugs have been ironed out. Till then, you have something to brag out.
