iPad’s International Rollout On May 28
Apple’s iPad will be available in the stores in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and UK from May 28. Apple had already announced that it will take pre-orders starting May 10. The next countries to follow for July release will be Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.

Although Steve Jobs on the iPhone OS 4.0 reveal day, only less than a month ago, was firm and adamant that the international launch would be held in April, has now been compelled to delay the international release of the iPad due to huge domestic demand.
According to the latest statistics, over one million iPad have been sold, 12 million apps downloaded and more than 1.5 million ebooks purchased since its released.
Though the local pricing of iPad will be disclosed at a later date but according to MacStories
, the iPad will ranging from 429 to 699 pounds in the UK (with 699 representing the 64GB 3G model), and 499 to 799 euros for the rest of Europe. [Via TechCrunch]
