iPhone OS 4.0 Features Confirmed
BGR finally leaked what was most awaited, the Apple’s next generation iPhone OS 4.0 exclusive features, through one of its reliable and trusted source within Apple. The OS 4.0 is basically released along with the Apple Tablet which forms the operating system of this new product. The same OS will be also available for iPhone 4G which is expected last quarter of this year.
OS 4.0 include various updations and additions are:
- Global multitouch gestures OS wide, leveraged from similar iTablet OS
- Background apps running/Multitasking
- UI enhanced for easier, more efficient navigation
- iPhone 3G/3GS only (and presumable 4th gen iPhone later in June)
- Will put iPhone way ahead of smartphone market, more like “full-fledged computer”
- Apple people “really excited”
- New but nebulous syncing for contacts and calendar aplications
Of course, no one can be 100% sure till next Wednesday events when Steve or Phil are going to announce their new creations. So let’s wait and watch till then.

Apple Heading For Setting New Record: Selling 16 iPhone 4S Each Second

Apple over the weekend has sold more than 4 Million iPhones. That is about 16 iPhones 4S sold every second or roughly saying around 1,000 each minute. These figures are most likely going to further enhance with the iPhone 4S introduction in 22 more countries on October 24th.
