According to iPhoneItalia, who claim that the iPhone 5 will launch on September 5 in the US and then after one whole month, it will launch on Swisscom, which is a carrier based in Switzerland. Keep in mind that according to the source, they claim that this news comes from a reliable source.
Its worthy to note that previously we’ve been getting reports from time to time that the next iPhone, which would be the successor to the iPhone 4 would launch sometime in fall. The same time frame when iOS 5’s final version is expected to land in the hand of consumers.
Its also rumored that along with the new and upgraded iPhone 5 (if that’s what they’re going to call it), Apple will also launch a new version of the iPod touch, which would be the fifth iPod touch in line. It has been rumored that the next iPod touch however won’t be a big upgrade over the iPod touch 4G, the only thing new will be internal hardware that’s all, and if we’re lucky enough, we’ll see a white iPod touch as well.
iPhone 5 however is rumored to have a faster dual core processor, an 8MP camera, and the ability to stop time, just saying. There are reports that the iPhone 5 might be a completely new design over the iPhone 4, and some say it won’t be. The only way to find out about that is to hang tight and wait for Apple’s call.
