Apple TV got a minor firmware update yesterday and the update is dubbed as 4.2.2. And the best thing about this update is; it can be jailbroken using I0n1c’s exploit.
Thankfully, you can now jailbreak your Apple TV 2G running on 4.2.2 untethered using bundles released by the iPhone Dev Team for PwnageTool for Mac. And those who are on Windows are in luck, Sn0wbreeze has been updated to version 2.7.2 which fully supports jailbreaking the Apple TV 2G untethered running on firmware 4.2.2.
