The iPhone Dev Team has released an updated version of Redsn0w which supports jailbreaking iOS 5 beta 4 running on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, and you can give it a shot right now!

iOS-51

Before you begin, you should be aware that the updated Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 only supports a tethered jailbreak at the moment, which means that if your device loses power or restarts then you would have to boot it into the jailbroken state again using Redsn0w itself. It’s a bit of a pain for some but hey, any jailbreak is better than no jailbreak at all right?

The steps for jailbreaking iOS 5 beta 4 however are exactly the same as posted here for Windows users, and here for Mac users, just use the required IPSW file that’s all.

You can download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 from this link for Windows, and from this link for Mac.
