Jailbreak iPhone 4 4.0.1 With JailbreakMe 2.0
As we mentioned in our earlier post, iPhone Dev-Team (Comex) has released JailbreakMe 2.0 (aka Star) which can jailbreak all iOS devices on their latest respective firmware like iOS 4.0 / 4.0.1. JailbreakMe 2.0 won’t work with iOS 4.1 Beta release. JailbreakMe 2.0, being a userland jailbreak, can be run right in your iOS Safari browser to jailbreak the device. So simple as that !
For jailbreak iPhone 4, 3GS (new bootrom, old bootrom) and 3G, users will need step by step instructions that are posted here along with video. The important thing to note is that, this jailbreak tool doesn’t hacktivate your device. You will require an original supported SIM card to activate your phone with iTunes. Apple over the weekend has sold more than 4 Million iPhones. That is about 16 iPhones 4S sold every second or roughly saying around 1,000 each minute. These figures are most likely going to further enhance with the iPhone 4S introduction in 22 more countries on October 24th.
