Jailbroken Apple TV 2G Running A Weather App
By now you must be aware that the Apple TV 2G can be jailbroken to run third party apps, but at the moment there aren’t any apps for a jailbroken Apple TV 2G at all, except one, it’s a weather app from a small software company called nitoTV.
Apple TV 2G can be jailbroken using Greenpois0n and Pwnagetool 4.1 and Limera1n as well. The weather app pictured above is the first app ever which we’ve seen running on an Apple TV 2G. The app looks pretty basic in terms of functionality, but it opens up a door of what we should expect in the future. But one thing that still baffles us is, how would you use apps without a keyboard? Maybe there will be an app for that too soon. [via Engadget]

Apple over the weekend has sold more than 4 Million iPhones. That is about 16 iPhones 4S sold every second or roughly saying around 1,000 each minute. These figures are most likely going to further enhance with the iPhone 4S introduction in 22 more countries on October 24th.
