Limera1n Can Jailbreak Apple TV 2G. No Apps Yet !
Limera1n is a new jailbreaking tool from Geohot which pwns all the existing iDevices for life running on top of iOS 4.1 and above. But recently an update on Limera1n’s official site confirms that it can jailbreak the Apple TV 2G as well. And there has been news around before as well that the Apple TV 2G is jailbreakable.
According to Limera1n’s description on it’s official website:
AppleTV is technically supported, but theres no apps yet
The above statement adds a lot of fire to the fact the Apple TV 2G is in deed jailbreakable but the downside right now is that there aren’t any apps available for it yet. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will in deed see either a separate section of apps in Cydia for Apple TV 2G or maybe a separate Cydia Store, who knows?
