New iPhone Landing In October, iPad With Retina Display Due Next Year
We all know by now that Apple will launch a new iPhone in the coming month or two, but along with that we’ve been hearing news about an all new iPad as well with a Retina Display, which is also in the pipeline for launch this year.

But sadly, according to TipB, the new iPad won’t land this year, and yes we couldn’t agree with them any more on this. Its not Apple’s tradition to give already floating products in the market a refresh before an year, therefore an all new iPad this year is highly unlikely.
Previously we’ve been hearing a lot about Apple launching an upgraded iPad this year, which would be aimed at professionals with a high resolution display (Retina?). But the thing that didn’t add weight to this rumor was its release date, Apple just wouldn’t refresh the same product half way through its lifecycle.
The iPhone 5 on the other hand, shares the same story which we’ve been hearing about for ages. It will be a whole new iPhone with the upgrades from our dreams, and it will be accompanied with a cheaper iPhone dubbed as the iPhone 4S. Quite surprisingly, its been reported that the reason why Apple didn’t announce the new iPhone at WWDC was the cheaper iPhone being on the workbench.
On a personal note, I don’t buy the new iPad with a Retina Display rumor for tons of reasons, mainly due to the one which I’ve already mentioned twice above. And regarding the iPhone 5, it will either launch in September or in October, and the iPhone 4S? Can’t say anything about that, it might just end up to be a cheaper iPhone 4 model after all, who knows!
But if you stick to the report by TipB, keep your eyes peeled on October, that’s the month when you should see the new iPhone.
