Opera Mini For iPad Coming Soon
Opera Mini is one of the alternatives for an internet browser on the iPhone. To take the leap even further, Opera will be announcing Opera Mini for the iPad at Mobile World Congress.

It’s somewhat funny to note that on iPad’s 9.7 inch screen the Opera Mini won’t be mini anymore. Rather it would and should be considered a full blown browser. But Opera will keep the tradition of calling it the Opera Mini for obvious reasons. According to Opera:
105 million people might use Opera’s browsers today, but Opera Software cares even more about tomorrow. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, new versions of the Opera Mini browser on Android, iPhone, J2ME, BlackBerry, Symbian and even the iPad will appear.
So there you have it, Opera Mini for the iPad coming soon! Hopefully this version of Opera Mini won’t be as bad as the iPhone one. In my opinion Safari is still a dominating browser after Skyfire. [via 9to5Mac]
