Remove the battery from the back of the phone; spin it around your index finger a few turns and it has gathered enough charge to last you a conversation, a few SMS or may be a safe trip to your charger and electric point. What a relief!

It is even less than 24 hrs that Orange UK announced that it would begin to offer the iPhone 3G and 3GS before the end of the year, as reported. O2 exclusive rights to networking and marketing for iPhone were shared by Orange UK through an agreement. Now last night, Vodafone of UK has also reached an agreement with iPhone getting hands on selling rights in UK and Ireland. In a press release, Vodafone announced that it will carry the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK and Ireland in early 2010.

US Strategic Move – Deployment of Long-Endurance Airship Over Afghanistan

It has been revealed that US now plans to deploy an autonomous, free-flying, surveillance airship in Afghanistan Air Space. The idea gathered support and also gaining lot of momentum. Consortium consisted of the US Army’s Space & Missile Defense Command is scheduled to be established by October 1, and contract will be awarded to Martin Lockheed for the Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle (LEMV) demonstration by the end of December, reported Aviation Week. The LEMV will be 250ft long, and designed to loiter at 20,000ft for up to 21 days carrying a 2,500lb ISR payload. LEMV is a hybrid airship, heavier than air, 80% of its lift coming from buoyancy and 20% from aerodynamics.
