Pics & Videos: The New Miss America 2010
Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron was announced Miss America 2010, winner by 7 seven judges jury on the eve of eighty ninth pageant contest in Las Vegas. 53 candidates from all the states of America participated in this live telecasted event of world. She was crowned by her predecessor with scholarship prize of fifty thousand dollars. Miss America 2009, Katie R. Stam relinquished her crown to the 2010 winner in an impressive ceremony. Miss Caressa Cameron 22, attended Massaponax High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. She will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Mass Communications. During her one-year reign, the issue she will focus on “AIDS in America”.She performed a stirring rendition of Listen from the Broadway musical Dreamgirls (video below).

This evening in Las Vegas, amid the applause of thousands, dressed in yellow, belting Beyonce’s “Listen” from “Dreamgirls” and telling kids they should get outside more often, Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron won the 2010 Miss America title.
