Planetbeing’s New Creation: “Signal” App for iPhone 4, 3GS & 3G
One of the greatest member of infamous iPhone Dev Team, David Wong, (aka Planetbeing), who late night yesterday, intimated via Twitter that he is conducting his last bit of tests and going to unveil the unlock for iPhone in less than 48 hours, has also been silently working on another project, too. This time its an application which he has developed and released for the iPhone called “Signal” . This is yet another feather added in his cap.
What is “Signal” and what it does for us? ”Signal” in fact maps the cell towers you are connected to and displays detailed cellular information of towers around you. The app also provides detailed cellular information from the baseband. Signal works for any country and in all the languages.
This time it’s not free. Planetbeing has put a price tag for $4.99 on it. You can download this new application, “Signal” from the Cydia Store. Needless to say, you would need a Jailbroken iPhone for that. [Via iClarified]

Apple over the weekend has sold more than 4 Million iPhones. That is about 16 iPhones 4S sold every second or roughly saying around 1,000 each minute. These figures are most likely going to further enhance with the iPhone 4S introduction in 22 more countries on October 24th.
