On the Christmas Eve, every one wonders if some stores are opened to shop around and take last moment benefits of the Christmas Sales.  Though stores will widely be closed as normal on a Christmas Day, there are many who care for their customers and will be kept opened on this Thanks Giving Day too.

There were some reports saying that Walmart is open on Christmas Day 2010, but Walmart has already confirmed in its sites that their stores will be closed during Christmas Day 2010 and will be opened again as early in the morning of December 26, 2010. Walmart, Target, Kmart, Old Navy and Toys R Us were open on Christmas Eve, but will all be closed on Christmas Day this year.  Even McDonalds confirmed that they are closed on Christmas. However, IHOP and Waffle House and Walgreens locations across the country will be open, and many CVS locations will also be open. so you can make a quick run to the store even on Christmas Day.

Other local stores could also be possibly open too and it would be better to check your local listings or call individual stores in your locality to be sure.
