According to the latest reports from Bloomberg, the next Apple TV may not be a revolution in technology in the making, as Apple usually promises on launch of its a new product.

The site had earlier reported that the new Apple TV will be sold at a price around $ 99  and it would be possible to rent movies and other show the price of 99 cents. It is expected that we could see this device alongside new iPod touches at an Apple event on September Ist.

Even if Apple wants to distribute multimedia content via Apple TV on a relatively low price which will be extremely beneficial for people who are used to watch only certain television shows or shows in particular, this possibility was blocked by the studios and television broadcasters, who would never allow the Cupertino based company with a distribution that would leave its mark on customers.

As reported by some people in close contact with the plans of Apple, Steve Jobs would think that even with the new Apple TV renewal will not be a revolution in every respect, since many users are not ready to leave behind the paid system distribution media that is currently broadcasters and service providers.

We just have to wait until September 1, to find out the facts and where probably also will be announced a replacement for the iPod line.   [ Via iClarified]
